For centuries, the Basil plant has been used to soothe the spirit and is said to help overcome a lack of confidence and reduce fear, anger, negative thoughts, indecision, and mental fatigue.

Βasil essential oil enhance mood, improve digestion, increase alertness, and soothe muscle aches, also has healing antibacterial properties, often used to relieve itchiness from insect bites and soothe skin infections. It can also help repel insects. Sweet and fresh aroma.

When combined with a carrier oil (sweet almond, as jojoba ,avocado….), basil essential oil can be applied directly to the skin or added to baths.

Basil essential oil also can be inhaled after sprinkling a few drops of the oil onto a cloth or tissue or through use of an aromatherapy diffuser or vaporizer.
